Lyndsey loved the excitement of Pappasito's for her birthday so much last year that we loaded up and headed to Austin to celebrate there again. Nana, Papa, Aunt Heather, and Uncle Chuck joined us as well and we had a great time. The birthday girl!
Little brother excited to sit in a booster seat instead of a high chair for the first time in a restaurant
Lyndsey cracked us up though...she ate and looked around to see that everyone else was finished too. She looked back over her shoulder and then back to me. She was looking for something. The waitress came and cleared some plates and brought boxes for leftovers and Lyndsey just stared at her. She came back again and cleared the rest of the food and left. Lyndsey turned to me and said "I guess they don't celebrate birthdays here Momma!" She was very upset that she still hadn't received her dessert and was convinced that she wasn't going to be getting one here. A few minutes later the entourage came to sing to her...here is the video of her reaction...
She was hilarious! I guess she really didn't want the attention as much as she wanted the huge dessert :)
Spring Break leads to great deals for family outings! We loaded up and headed to Georgetown on Thursday to celebrate Lyndsey's 5th birthday :) I'm still in awe that my blonde haired, blue eyed firework is 5...where did time go? She was so excited to bowl and had a great time doing it. We love bowling as a family and decided next time Mikey will get to bowl too (with the help of the ramp). I'm FIVE!
( I have NO idea where she gets that from! lol)
Lyndsey turning 5 seems so surreal. Now I'm getting ready to have 2 school age girls and a toddler boy which I won't even get into in this post...I've been emotional the last week because they are all growing up too fast for this mommy :(

Shelby had a blast at cheer camp! She spent Saturday morning with her friends, Maddie, Kenslee and Grace, learning cheers at the high school. I bought the DVD of the cheers/chants/dance so Shelby could practice before the performance. She took it very seriously and practiced alot with Lyndsey right by her side. Tonight they performed at the JV boys basketball halftime. She did AWESOME! I think her daddy was her biggest fan (even over Momma) :) I definitely think it's going to be something she'll want to do again. Even Lyndsey was cheering beside me in the stands...it was hilarious! Kenslee, Grace, and Shelby cheering happily

Lyndsey had her Pre-K PTO performance last night. We braved it despite the freezing temperatures and Daddy having to work. Lyndsey was right in the center of the group and did a fabulous job showing her performance skills...I was one proud mommy :) She did Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, the Three Boppin' Bears, and the Cool Bear Hunt. Afterwards, they had bedtime stories read to them in their classroom. The kids had a great time.
