4 Wheelin with Daddy!

So we got a random phone call from Pop a few weeks ago. He wanted Dane to go see how much a 4x4 4 wheeler was going to be at the Honda Powersports place. Dane, trying to think logically for the first time in who knows how long, worked on convincing him he needed a Polaris or a Mule. Didn't work! Kantro men (and little girls) are the most stubborn things!!! So now we are holding onto Pop's new toy until Dane can get up to San Angelo to take it to him. He took the girls on a ride this morning to see how they would like it. Lyndsey was a little apprehensive at first but once it started going she started giggling and having a good time. Shelby on the other hand, cried and cried that she didn't want to go on it. Finally, we made her get on it tears and all. Once they got a little ways down the alley, she was smiling and having a good time!

The Little Things They Love!

You all know how I am about sweets with the girls- I don't give them very many. So today while shopping at Walmart, I was walking in the frozen foods section and discovered Jell-O Pudding Pops. I couldn't resist buying them for the girls because I remember how much I loved them as a kid. I also didn't know they still made them. I gave them the choice of which one they wanted for dessert- chocolate, swirl, or vanilla. Shelby chose vanilla and Lyndsey being the copy cat of Shelby these days had to have a "banilla" one, too!

Shelby enjoying her popsicle!

Lyndsey enjoying hers too!

Whirlwind of Weeks

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind for us! Lyndsey had eye surgery and did great. She seemed a little drunk after it was done but she didn't cry!

The girls are loving Bethune! I think we made a good decision to put them there this year! Shelby hasn't adjusted well to not having a nap so we had to downsize her social schedule. We decided to just do dance this year. She loves it as usual. She only has a few friends in her class from last year so she is learning to make lots of new friends.

Also, we have broken the news to many of you that we are expecting baby #3 in April! I had my first appointment today and everything looks good. We even had an ultrasound to look at him(we are thinking positively about this) and he looked great and had a good heartbeat. The girls are starting to ask more questions. They really want a baby sister which annoys Daddy but it's really cute! Feel free to enlighten us with what you think it will be! I'm not telling what I think because I think I know but I'm not telling!

We'll Try It Again!!

We tried a different blog site before and it wasn't as user friendly as I had hoped. So, many people have suggested this one so we'll try it again! Hopefully, I can get this all figured out.

Anyways, we have had a busy last few weeks and the next few will be even more hectic. Shelby started pre-k this year and she seems to enjoy it. I started teaching at Raye-Allen this year and it is fun but exhausting! I have a sweet group of kids to work with this year...finally, no problem kids! Lyndsey is still potty training, bless her heart she may be 3 before it happens. Dane is still working hard, he changes shifts in a couple weeks and we won't see him much.
Next week, Lyndsey has her last eye surgery. We hope it all goes well. Shelby starts dance, children's choir, and Mission Friends/Preschool TEAM Kid. Her social life is crazy now...what will it be like when she's a teenager??

Hope we got everyone caught up!
