Pumpkin Patch

We finally made it to the pumpkin patch this year. Lyndsey's 1 & 2 year old Bible Fellowship class met at the pumpkin patch to play and take pictures tonight. The kids loved it! They all climbed through the pumpkins and tried carrying them around. They were amazed by all the different sizes, shapes, and textures. I still can't believe how hard it is to take a picture of Shelby and Lyndsey together! I can only imagine what it will be like when I have three to wrangle for a picture...

Chopstick Lessons

Tonight we went out for Chinese food. No big shocker at our house- ask the girls what they want to eat and that's what they'll tell you. Anyways, Dane always uses chopsticks when we go and the girls always want to try them but can't figure them out much like Mommy. But tonight, our waitress brought them some training chopsticks. Here's a few fun shots of them eating like Daddy.

Shelby caught on pretty well by the time we got done but Lyndsey gave up and just used her fingers. She tried several times but couldn't quite get it. I think Shelby will be really good since we got to take the training ones home with us.

Also, notice the new haircuts they got this weekend. Shelby has bangs again and Lyndsey has a cute bob- it fits her personality so well- I love it!

What will the baby be??

The closer it gets to the ultrasound, the more anxious we are all getting. We had an ultrasound done at 10 weeks to make sure everything looked okay and to make sure of how far along I was. The next one is the BIG deal one. I have a feeling what the sex of the baby is but I'm not telling!! I have told a few people, so if you know don't tell Dane. The girls can't decide if they want a brother or sister. It depends on the day to what they want. I have had lots of opinions on what it will be as well. Some people think because I felt different at the beginning of this one, it's a boy. Others have said, they come in 3's meaning it's another girl. November 11th we find out...

It doesn't feel like I'm already coming up on week 15. I can already feel him/her moving around- that started this week. I can't wait until Lyndsey pokes the baby and the baby pokes or kicks her back! It will be priceless! Her favorite thing to do right now is lift my shirt and say, "The baby's in there?" and smile. Shelby on the other hand doesn't have as much interest right now. I think once we get closer and start setting up the nursery she will be more excited. Anyways, I hope you guys have a great week!

I think Shelby wants to be a hair stylist...

I told the girls to get their pajamas ready for after bath and they both ran off to do it. I noticed they were gone for a while but Lyndsey came back in the living room. She smelled like the roll on soap and I got on to her because she gets a rash from it. Then I started looking at her hair and noticed a big knot of hair right in the front. I looked at Dane and said, "What happened to her hair?" As I said it, I pulled the big clump of hair and it came out in my hand. I looked at the clump and said "She cut it." As soon as I said it, Shelby busted out in tears. She gave herself away. For some reason unknown to us, Shelby decided to give Lyndsey a haircut. I looked around to see what scissors she used and she had used the nail scissors from the bathroom. I still cannot believe she did that!! She still won't say why she did, all she'll do is cry. I told her that even I don't cut their hair, so she needs to leave it to Ms. Laura to do the haircuts next time.

(FYI- that's ravioli all over Lyndsey's face, she was headed to the tub)
