United We Dance

Shelby performed in her second dance recital tonight. She did both ballet and tap to "This is My Country" and "You're a Grand Old Flag" and did a fabulous job. I think she has some natural talent in dancing- I'm not sure where she gets it though- have you ever seen me and Dane dance? It's not that pretty! I think her favorite part of the recitals are as follows: makeup, costume, and flowers.

Class of 2022

Today, Shelby graduated from Pre-K at Bethune ECC. She has really matured this year and we are so proud of the little lady she is becoming! It seems like just yesterday she was our sweet baby girl and now she's growing up. Sorry I didn't get one of her going across and getting her diploma, my stupid camera battery died right as she was going up the stairs...just my luck! I did order one though so I'll post it when it comes in.

They entered to Pomp and Circumstance...Shelby and Parker

It's Never Too Early... teach your son about hot rods!

(Note: I didn't stage this...Dane got his new Hot Rod magazine in the mail yesterday so last night he started looking at while he was entertaining Michael and decided to show him what he has to look forward to with Daddy and Papa...I can't believe I actually had the camera handy for it!)

Summertime has arrived!

Two swimsuits=$20
Two sisters not fighting for over an hour=PRICELESS

What Were We Thinking???

We have always been looking forward to when the kids would be big enough to do sports and activities. We signed Shelby up for dance and t-ball this year. Don't get us wrong, it's been a blast to watch her play and dance but dragging along a fiesty 3 year old and a newborn??? WHAT WERE WE THINKING???

I think Dane and I are more exhausted from dealing with them than Shelby is from doing the activity. Oh well, life goes on! Dance ends next week and on to gymnastics for Lyndsey and swim lessons for both of them...will our schedule ever end? I hope Michael learns to love the carseat because if not, it's going to be a long summer for all of us!

Vacation will definitely be needed by the time we finish all this! Sea World here we come (minus Michael- he'll stay home and be spoiled by Nana and Papa)!

She Loves It Like Her Momma

Shelby seems to love softball just as much as I do. She has her own cheering section each game: Nana, Papa, Momma, Daddy, Lyndsey, and Michael...the only problem is she watches us for what to do instead of her coach. It's something we'll have to work on next year.

The league has a photographer who comes to the games and takes pictures you can order online. He took a lot of Shelby playing Monday night.

Click on the 5/4/2009 Temple Best Cuts vs. Salvation Army game and look at the super cute pictures of her. You can order from there if you like. I need to order some myself because they are better than what I can take trying to watch, coach, and be mom to the other two.

Happy One Month Birthday!

Michael had his one month pictures taken yesterday. He is such a ham already! He looked so cute in all of them and even smiled for one (probably just gas but it was a smile and she got it on camera). I had the hardest time picking which pictures I wanted. Here are a few of my favorites!

4 Weeks Already???

We've come a long way in just a few weeks and thank everyone for their prayers and encouragement in Michael's first month of life!

Michael Leon on his birthday...Michael Leon today...

I cannot believe it's already been four weeks since Michael made his dramatic arrival! He is the sweetest baby and I am so thankful for the blessing God has given us. Michael loves to sleep, not as much as Lyndsey did but still quite a bit. He also enjoys laying on his playmat kicking and swatting at the animals. He loves to listen to his big sister Lyndsey talk- he turns his head to find her. He loves to cuddle and really only cries when he is hungry, wants to be held, or is fighting going to sleep. He has his first photo shoot tomorrow- I'll post when we get done!
