Snow Day

We all got to go home early today due to the snow! YAY! We played outside after nap and the kiddos and Daddy seemed to really enjoy it. I showed the girls how to make snow angels but I'm not going to show that one :) Once Mikey got cold though- he was done. We are supposed to start school late tomorrow- but who knows, we'll see what tomorrow brings! Mikey didn't like the snowflakes falling on his face too much.

First Haircut

Before the big haircut

After the haircut- I wish I could have gotten him to look at the camera though!

Sunny Day

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear

Here's the star of the PTO program- Miss Lyndsey! She was hilarious! I laughed out loud many times during the program. The 2's and 3's performed Teddy Bear songs for the parents/families on story night (hence why they are wearing pj's). Lyndsey knew all the songs and motions and did a fantastic job showing it off. They did 3 songs: Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear (the jump rope song), Goldilocks, and Going on a Bear Hunt. She does the dramatic very well so maybe she'll be in theatre- who knows! :) Layla telling Lyndsey a secret before the show started (ignore the date- we had to use the backup camera)

Bye bye Baby Food

Our little boy is growing up...he's now moving on to bigger and better things- table food! He wasn't too sure at first- he put his hands all in it but wouldn't eat it. I fed him a few bites and then told him if he wanted more, he was going to have to pick it up. He finally decided to lick his fingers and the rest is history! He chowed down once he got the hang of picking it up. So I guess the next step is the sippy cup. I hope he transitions fast to it too but I don't think he will. He loves his bottle a whole bunch these days. Not too sure just yet about the ravioli and green beans

This is pretty good

Party in the USA!

Shelby picked a fabulous Hannah Montana dance party for her birthday this year. We had a great turn out- 15 kiddos- and they all really enjoyed themselves! I think the parents had as much fun as the kids. The girls learned a Hannah Montana dance and played bean bag games and parachute. Once the dancing was done, we moved over to the party room and had cake. Then lots of presents were opened and enjoyed! Thanks to everyone for helping celebrate Shelby's 6th birthday!!
