I thought a good project for Daddy and the girls would be making a gingerbread house and sleigh. The girls loved the idea and were so excited to work on it. Daddy got the house put together and it just kept falling over. No matter how many times we fixed it, added more icing, and took it apart to start over- it just didn't want to cooperate. I think they all still had a good time with our first gingerbread "house". Sometimes the "fails" are what make the best memories! Putting down icing to set the house in place

We'll definitely try it again next year! I'll have to research the best methods for doing it since I'll have a 2 1/2 year old rough and tumble boy helping us out.
